Meet Lindsay Shack

Have you ever in your life wished that getting, and STAYING happy + healthy could just be…simpler?

Yeah?…Me too.

Lindsay Shack

Hello, friend! I’m Lindsay Shack.

I’m a recovered yo-yo dieter, sugar/carb-crazed queen, and emotional roller coaster junkie.
I believe in a balanced life: no dieting – flexible eating & working out hard! And enjoying life – food, travel, adventures, family and friends – on your terms. No restrictions – lots of flexibility. Because, at the end of the day – wouldn’t you rather make slow, calculated and consistent steps than backtrack on a week’s worth of hard work? Life, in my humble opinion, is about going after what you truly desire, finding the uncomplicated way of doing it, and living your life without worry. It’s easier said than done, but totally possible if you stop thinking so much, and just start doing.

I’m a big believer in taking things back to simple. Simple…not directionless. Not easy, but basic – attainable.

I fully stand behind thinking out of the box, going after your dreams, taking the road less traveled, working hard, staying the course, having faith, believing in yourself, working on yourself, improving yourself, and doing your BEST not to compare yourself to others all while doing so (this one is still SOOOO hard for me).
And while it may seem like I’m on the right track now, I promise I wasn’t born this way.

I grew up in New York City – a little voice in a BIG stage – unsure of my self, my beauty, my confidence, my purpose and my intelligence.

I did all the right things (by society’s standards): went to a private school, dieted and exercised, dyed my hair, dieted and exercised, straightened my hair, tried really hard, did all the cool things to fit in, dieted and exercised, went the extra mile to go to a top-rated college (struggled to find direction), dieted and exercised, did a stint in the corporate world, and dieted and exercised a little bit more.

Guess what!? None of it worked. None of it made me happy or healthy. None of it made me confident about my body, my direction, or my life.
It just made me exhausted.

So one day, with a lot of courage, I decided to take a step towards my passion: nutrition. And then another day I decided to take another step: I stopped dieting – stopped no carbs, less fat, binge and repeat – blah, blah, blah – and decided to live a lifestyle.

Actually, the truth is, I decided to start living.

To say that I made the right decision is a serious understatement. To date I’ve lost a little over 35 pounds and get this: I’ve actually KEPT IT OFF. Now, I have fun lifting weights, getting stronger and leaner, while eating what I want in moderation.

I know for sure that this is THE happiest I’ve been in my own skin pretty much…ever.

And I’m not done yet.

But I realized that in order to get to where you want to be, you have to be happy with where you’re at right now.
And because of these two small simple steps, today I’m following my passions for a living. The best part about that is that I’m helping other women follow their bliss, too. I don’t claim to know it all, but I know a little and have the past experiences to fuel me on this movement.

Everything is clearer.

Don’t get me wrong – it’s not a walk in the park. It can be a challenge.

But totally worth it…

Life is simpler, happier…and healthier.

Today, I’m 110% passionate about helping others get to this point, too.

Helping you ditch the years of crazy ‘dieting’ is only one part of the equation. The other part is helping you create the life you were meant for – you know, the one where you’re actually happy getting up every day, the one where you’re fulfilled in the work that you do, and the one that allows you all the luxuries you deserve and desire.

Yeah, that one.

So if you’re ready to join the soul-satisfying, spirited, and sensational revolution called living your BEST life, then join me!

But wait, there’s more! – Here’s a few more quirky things about me I thought I’d share:

  • I don’t believe in Diets – it’s all about lifestyle for me (A green smoothie in the morning…a margarita in the evening – moderation!) If it fits my macros, I’ll eat it! :)
  • I’ll take dark chocolate over milk chocolate any day
  • I have a serious love affair with Whipped Cream – shh, don’t tell my husband. Wait…actually he’s the one who thinks I need serious help!
  • I’m a visual person – with that said, if a piece of food has a certain shape that’s better than another, I’ll have to have it…I know, I know…I’m working on it!
  • I look and sound like I’m fresh out of high school, even though I’m 31! It’s okay – I’ll appreciate this in a few years :)
  • I’m a dog person and am the proud mama of the cutest puppy in the world, Noodle and crazy ball of fire, Wesley. Seriously, cutest.puppies.ever…sorry people, but it’s true.
